Boring Onesies Get Makeovers!I

Got boring onesies? I have a ton of them for my daughter since they seem to be the bulk of her wardrobe. Why not dress it up a bit? If you are a crafter, a lot of the essential items you will have on hand for this quick onesie makeover.

Heat Bond Fabric
Fabric with your choice of print
Iron
Needle and thread in any color

I decided to make shirts with my daughters first intial. If you have a boy, how fun to make shirts with a pattern using a bowtie or necktie. (I plan to do this if my pregnant sister in law has a boy) I made a template on a scrap piece off a box for the e and then traced around it onto the fabric. Cut pattern out of the fabric and iron on to the heat bond. Place onto onesie and iron into place. If you want to make it a little more decorative, simply stitch around the initial with colorful thread. (this step is optional)

VOILA! I liked the looks of it so much I even made a miniature e and ironed it onto the bottom leg of her leggings. Very cute.

Chunkeroo here moved a little before I took the picture, so the top of the e obviously isn't showing, but you get the drift. This is a great way to use up any of your spare fabric.
